Thanks for all the name suggestions for my new pound puppy. After living with him for five days I decided he looked, smelled and acted like a "Rusty." Thanks to my cousins for the kind assistance.
Rusty is an excellent dog and has not peed in my house since I got him. (Don't ask Mom or Denny about his bathroom habits, however.) Of course he likes to chew a little. He's a good little fetcher.
The vet says he is about 7 months old and appears to be healthy. He weighs 20 pounds now and the vet's best guess on how big he'll get is low to mid 30s. If you haven't seem him take a look at my Animal Buddies album. He is terribly cute. And soft.
